Black and Magenta Mandala Manicure

We’ve had a bit of a heat wave in NYC lately! Temperatures have been in the 90s here, and so I’ve been in the mood to do a summer bright manicure even though it’s officially fall.

The color that spoke to me was Beach Cruise-r from China Glaze which is a shimmery hot pink/magenta shade.

Things heat up quickly with a color this bright!

I figured that black stamping would look awesome over this base shade, so I dug through my plates and found this beauty from Born Pretty Store.

BP-48 plate from Born Pretty Store.

I used the image in the lower right hand corner along with Ya Qin An stamping polish in Black and a clear squishy stamper to create this manicure. I loved the scalloped edges of the design, so I stamped it one way on my middle and ring fingers and then flipped it to create a half moon pattern on my index and little fingers.

The result is Bollywood chic!

This was a very simple manicure to put together. You can choose to take it a step further by coloring in the mandala prior to stamping the design, but I love the contrast of hot pink against black polish.

Stay cool out there! Happy polishing!
