Hello again, and Happy Thanksgiving to those who are celebrating! We’re going to be taking an in depth look at My Dance Nail Lacquer today.
My Dance Holographic Nail Lacquer in color 001 LS.
I’ve seen My Dance nail polish on a few websites. This particular bottle is from the Beauty Big Bang store site (see the link at the the bottom of the post), and it caught my eye because of the beautiful silver holographic color. Honestly, who doesn’t love a good holo polish?
This polish comes in a 6 mL bottle, which is a mini size that holds about half the amount of polish that an average drugstore brand would contain. I’m totally fine with that because when was the last time you have ever finished off a whole bottle of nail polish? You can still get plenty of uses from this size with little worry of the polish formula getting too old. I also find it great that the date the polish was made and the expiration date are printed on a label on the back side of the bottle so you can keep better track of the age of the formula. Welcome to that weird transition period of the seasons where it’s still officially fall, but the temperature feels like it’s winter! Here’s a manicure that floats between both seasons with its flowers and color scheme.
I started by painting all my nails with silver holographic polish from My Dance. There isn’t a name for the color, but a sticker on the bottle identifies it as “001 LS.”
The stamping was done with Blink plates that were purchased as part of a bundle from Beauty Big Bang. Use my code CHRISS to save 10% off your order! Do be aware that the plates you will receive are random when you order them through that link, so there is no way to tell what you will get, but it’s always a happy surprise! I used 6 of their plates for this manicure: B40, B41, B81, B86, B103, and B107. Continue reading →
Today’s nail art is based off a pink and black color theme, which is always a classic combination. I also really was in the mood to use some holographic polish because it’s been awhile since I enjoyed some rainbow action!
I started by painting my nails with What’s A Tire Jack? from Sephora by OPI and Born Pretty Holographic Stamping Polish in color #2.
Everything is so shiny! These nails look killer already even without any nail art.
I wanted to do French tips combined with stamping, so I applied an extra swipe of black polish across the tips of the nails that were painted with the pink polish.
Happy November! This post is coming a little late because I’ve been swamped with trying to get a lot of pictures edited and ready for the blog (not to mention work!), but I think you guys will still enjoy seeing my journey for this manicure!
I did my nails the night before Halloween, and while I didn’t have any spectacular plans to go out, I did want to be festive. I went with a various selection of stamped images on top of a dark background.
