Frosted Leaves Winter/Spring Manicure

Hi, everyone! Who else is sick of the weird weather patterns lately? NYC just got dumped with a load of snow on the 2nd day of spring, so I came up with a little snow day manicure with my day off.

I picked a pretty pastel blue-gray color from Julep called Zoey. It’s great for spring, but it shares the cool tones of winter.

2 coats of Zoey by Julep, shown without top coat.

Spring usually conjures up images of flowers and buds so I chose a pretty leaf design from plate BM-702 from Bundle Monster for this manicure.

I used the image from the upper right hand corner for this manicure.

Using silver stamping polish from Ya Qin An and a clear stamper, I applied the design to my nails, tilting the leaves so that they pointed up at an angle. This helps to make the nail look longer than it is.

I finished up with a matte top coat from Sephora by OPI. It’s not a favorite one of mine because it takes forever to dry completely, but it makes for a nice muted look.

I think it’s a very classy manicure. You can make it even simpler by choosing to only stamp one or two nails instead of all of them, and it would still look lovely.

Here’s to hoping that the weather gets warmer soon! Happy polishing!
