Spiderweb Manicure

When it’s late October, the countdown to Halloween starts! There are so many fun things you can put on your nails at this time of year to celebrate the day, but I’ve chosen to highlight spiders and their webs first.

To start, I used a sparkly black holographic polish from F.U.N. Lacquer called Last Doubt. This allows for some slight contrast against the black spiders that will be put on top shortly.

2 coats of Last Doubt provide the perfect sparkly base for this spooky manicure.

To save some time, I used the Celebration BPX-L007 plate from Born Pretty Store to stamp on some cobwebs with Ya Qin An Stamping Nail Polish in White. I used the images from the top left corner of the plate.

I followed up by stamping the single dangling spider with Ya Qin An Stamping Nail Polish in Black over the pre-existing spider in the big cobweb image and added the spider inside the the web to my other nails.

Because it was hard to isolate the spider image completely, my spiders appear to have 9 legs! In reality, it’s because the extra line is from the web that he is hanging from. Thankfully it’s not too noticeable!

I finished up with a no smudge stamping top coat from Born Pretty which totally delivered on its promise.

What other things do you picture when you think of Halloween? Let me know in the comments!

Happy polishing!
