I’ve always loved Born Pretty stamping polishes, and this green one from their Melody Life Series does not disappoint.
The color of this polish is called Nirvana (BP-ML01), and it’s a pigmented yellow green that reminds me of Kermit the Frog.
The polish comes in a box and is in the same type of 6 mL bottle size that Born Pretty uses for all their polishes now. The brush is easy to manage and is a medium size that works great for painting nails.
The formula is highly pigmented and contrasts beautifully over both light and dark colors, and it can be used as a one coat quick dry polish over all your nails if you are in a hurry! You’ll find that this polish is easy to apply and that it is not overly thick.
As was to be expected, I wanted this green polish for use with leaf patterns like the ones in my flamingo nail design.
This stamping polish also works brilliantly for coloring in decals that are reverse stamped (see the penguin mani below). You don’t want to have to apply more than one coat of polish when coloring in an intricate design, so this polish is wonderful for that.
As mentioned before, this nail polish dries quickly, and the pigmentation can’t be beat. If you enjoy stamping leaves, Nirvana is a must have addition to your arsenal of stamping polishes.
