Review of Azure Beauty 6 Color Gel Polish Set

Today I’m going to show you a gorgeous 6 color gel nail polish set from Azure Beauty. I can’t seem to find much information on the company, although I can tell you that they offer their products on Amazon.

This set is perfect for gift giving as it is presented in a nice box. The 7 mL bottles inside are a little small, but this allows you to try 6 different colors while keeping the price affordable. Each bottle ends up only costing a little over $3 (USD) each, which is still quite inexpensive considering that this is gel polish.

Instructions and a set of swatch stickers are also included.

The nail polishes are identified by their catalog numbers rather than fancy names, so the swatch stickers really come in handy so you can see the colors at a glance. The shades included in the set are a bright white, a lavender gray, a baby pink, a tomato red, a plum toned jelly with holographic and fine silver glitters, and a light gray.

For the stickers, I used 2 coats of color and cured each layer for one minute.

Although the bottle size is small, the brush size is normal. It was easy to use the brush to coat each nail in 1-3 strokes, and it applied the formula smoothly.

Also of interest is how sheer the formula is in one coat. I would say that you could turn any one of the solid colors into a crelly shade with one coat. It takes about three coats to get the true color of the polish that you see in the bottle. Each layer cures well in one minute in a 36W UV/LED lamp. The surface may be slightly tacky afterward, but this is so the next layer can adhere to it better and it keeps the formula from shrinking.

Three coats of polish were applied for the swatches here. Pictured clockwise from the top left corner: Azure-7052, Azure-7001, Azure-7013, Azure-7038, Azure-7029, and Azure-7014.

As it’s cold outside now, a pro tip is to allow the gel polish bottle to warm up in your hand for about a minute as you shake it to make the lacquer easier to apply in thin coats. The application can look a little streaky and/or lumpy if you fail to do this first.

The formula is very durable as I’ve had the jelly glitter polish on my right hand for about a week, and it still looks as good as it did on day 1. As with all gel polishes, prepping your nails correctly is key to making your manicure last!

In all, this set offers a beautiful assortment of complementary shades that are all timeless classic colors. I love that applying different numbers of coats changes the opacity of the formula from sheer to full coverage, which allows you to create different effects with the polish. No matter what you design, manicures done with this set will also last for seemingly as long as your heart desires!
