Spring Lily Nails

It’s nice to see flowers beginning to bloom all over the place! There’s nothing like the beauty of nature to inspire some nail art.

For this lily manicure, I started by painting my nails a lovely sky blue color using polish from Aimeili. This color is 113 Strongylodon Macrobotrys, and I used 3 coats cured at 60 seconds per coat to achieve the nice opaque creme color you see here.

3 coats of 113 Strongylodon Macrobotrys were applied for this swatch.

The designs for this manicure came from the Born Pretty Spring Garden L007 plate.

I focused on completing my accent nail first. I used Beauty Big Bang Stamping Polish in 008 Silver to pick up the design in the bottom row, 3rd from the left side. I then used 3 different purple polishes from the In Love set from The New Black to color in and shade the flowers before stamping the finished decal onto my ring finger.

Reverse stamping is easy with the new large stamper from Born Pretty.

I followed up with some double stamping using Ya Qin An stamping polish in Black to give the design more dimension.

The flower really pops with black polish outlining the silvery design.

I also used the double stamping technique with the half moon design placed on my other nails. The upper portion of the pattern from the middle row, 3rd from the right of the plate was used in the cuticle area to form little crowns just for fun.

I finished by applying a coat of Born Pretty Tempered Matte Gel Top Coat and cured it for 60 seconds to provide a smooth, fondant like sheen to my nails.

I’m holding one of the 3 polishes used from the In Love set from The New Black. The other shades were a dark purple and a silvery lilac color.

Hope you liked this design! Happy polishing!
