Born Pretty just released a new stamper, and it’s as pretty as it is functional!
The new rainbow titanium stamper comes in two varieties: one with a clear stamper head, and one with a clear head speckled with holographic glitter. I was sent the clear version for review, which is nice, although I was super curious to see the one with the sparkles!
This stamper features a large 1.5 inch diameter clear silicone head. The texture is not unlike that of a giant gummy candy, providing a slightly squishy feel to it. The edges are rounded to encourage the rolling motion used when picking up a design, and the surface is a little sticky to help polish stick to it.
Because of the size of the stamper, the handle is easy to hold due to its wider diameter. The metal handle is beautiful with its rainbow gradient print, and the head stays in place thanks to the conic design that tapers down to a one inch opening. The inside of the tube is completely hollow so you can see your designs clearly- there is no plastic here that will fog up over time, and the handle is acetone resistant, which is wonderful to know when using nail art products!
Most importantly, this stamper needs no priming. I didn’t even wash the head with soap and water prior to the first use, and the picture above was the first thing I tried to stamp! It picks up both metallic and stamping polishes equally well, and the large head makes it easy to work with bigger images.
Of course, the clear head makes it easy to place the images exactly where you want them to be on your nail.
Techniques like double stamping the same image to create an outlined effect work well with this item.
Every nail artist should have a clear headed stamper in her collection, so why not choose this beautiful one?
