Cat Lovers Nail Art

Welcome, spring! I wanted to do something soft and pastel for the season, so here are some cute and cuddly cat nails in pink and gray!

I started by painting my nails a pale pink. This one is color 003 from Mefa. I applied 3 thin coats, curing each layer for 60 seconds in a 36W UV/LED lamp.

Purrfect Together Valentine’s Day Manicure

Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤ I’m going to show you a “Purrfect Together” Valentine card design that I created for the occasion.

I started by painting my nails with 022 Rose Nude from Aimeili. It is a beautiful classic sheer light pink creme shade. I applied and cured 3 coats for one minute each in a 36W UV/LED lamp.

Review of Beauty Big Bang BBBXL-030 Stamping Plate

Thanksgiving has passed as has Black Friday, which can only mean one thing: it’s safe to decorate for Christmas! Some may not appreciate the jump start into the holiday season, but it has been proven that decorating for the holidays can put you into a happier mood. Even if you’re not planning to do full on lights and a tree, you can get your nails ready with this plate from Beauty Big Bang!

The Beauty Big Bang XL-030 plate comes in a beautifully printed cardboard envelope. It lists the plate name on the front and has its own personalized UPC code on the back along with a photo tutorial for how to use the product. Unfortunately the holder is not designed to allow you to see the actual images contained on the plate, but at least if you are looking for your Christmas themed plates, this will stand out in your collection.

Fun Halloween Themed Nails

Happy November! This post is coming a little late because I’ve been swamped with trying to get a lot of pictures edited and ready for the blog (not to mention work!), but I think you guys will still enjoy seeing my journey for this manicure!

I did my nails the night before Halloween, and while I didn’t have any spectacular plans to go out, I did want to be festive. I went with a various selection of stamped images on top of a dark background.

To start, I prepared my nails with Born Pretty Liquid Peel Off Tape and then painted my nails with Legend from Formula X for Sephora.

I kind of wish I hadn’t painted the peel off tape first because this shade is gorgeous and deserved its own swatch photo!

Next I took a small piece of a makeup sponge and applied Jetsetter from Formula X and blended it with Legend to create a vampy gradient.

Because each shade has shimmery particles in it, the textures blend extra well together.
