It’s been awhile since I used some chrome pigment powder, so why not break the streak with the hottest powder out there right now: peacock powder!
This mysterious name comes from the transformative characteristics of the powder. It has both a chrome and holographic effect depending on how the light reflects on the surface, and it is eye catching just like the bird the pigment is named after.
Today’s review covers color J2952-1A from Beauty Big Bang (see below for a link to the product), which is a dark green. 0.2 grams of the pigment are inside a small screw top container with a freshness seal over the opening to keep any powder from leaking out. The set also includes two sponge tipped applicators with everything sealed inside a little baggie that can be zipped closed to keep everything together.
Please be aware that this only contains 0.2 grams of product, so the container will not be very full. The good thing is that you do not use much powder to apply it on all ten nails, so even this small amount will last for quite a few manicures.
This pigment is a deep forest green with gold undertones. It is very shimmery due to the holographic particles that are mixed with the powder. Continue reading
