Every nail artist should have a good black polish in her arsenal of colors, and Aimeili’s gel polish in color 007 Blackpool is the perfect inky shade to complete your collection.
I’m still busy working through my collection of Aimeili gel polishes, so today’s review is on number 113 Strongylodon Macrobotrys, a beautiful vivid sky blue in a creme finish.
This color really stands out in my collection because it’s not a shade that gets duplicated a lot. It makes me think of fun tropical drinks and blue cotton candy, so you’ll need to have a fun personality to pull this shade off!
Seems like there’s a lot of talk about jelly polishes lately, especially with the launch of the new sheer tint collection from Maniology. You won’t be able to stamp with this gel polish from Aimeili, but you will be able to create that coveted stained glass look with it!
The jelly polish in question is color 065 Pink Nude, which is a fairly transparent pink tint that resembles rosewater. It comes in a 10 mL bottle and cures in 60 seconds in a 36W UV/LED lamp.
Here’s a gel polish with a jelly finish: Aimeili’s 016 Tinsel Toast Gold Diamond. For those who don’t know, a jelly polish is basically a tinted clear lacquer, and it usually serves as the vehicle of choice for glitter particles because it still allows glitter to shine through the formula. This particular color from Aimeili features a dusky rose tinted base and features small silver glitter flakes to serve as the “diamonds” that the name of the polish refers to.
I’ve been drowning in gel polishes, and I’m nowhere near finished! I can’t say that I mind because gel does such a good job at protecting my nails, and I’ve had the opportunity to try a ton of different brands over the past few months, but I’m still loving Aimeili for their color selection.
Today’s featured polish is color 127 Rosa Multiflora from Aimeili. It is a full coverage glitter polish unlike others that I have seen. This one has a blue toned pink metallic foil flake finish and uses a pink jelly base to cover up any spots that the glitter might have missed. It’s very shiny and reflective, and you can tell that there is a ton of glitter in the formula based on the bottle shot alone.
Shopping for gel polish online can be scary business. Not every brand is trustworthy, and things get especially questionable when the price seems too good to be true. However, I had such good results with a gel base and top coat set from Clavuz that I didn’t hesitate to try out this 12 color gel polish box set from the same company.
The outside packaging really doesn’t entice the buyer into purchasing the set. They don’t specify which colors are included, nor do they have pictures of the polishes included, but they do list all the boring stuff.
The contents of the box are more exciting. The bottles, which are an 8 mL size and therefore a little small, are held in place in a plastic tray, and more detailed instructions along with a swatching wheel are included.
It’s been rough for me over the past few weeks as I’ve been processing the passing of my grandmother. I traveled home for the first time in six years to attend the funeral, and as the day of departure approached, I couldn’t help but think of my grandmother and what she liked. I remember she had quite an attachment to the color olive green as her furniture was a similar shade, and she owned coats and clothes from the same part of the spectrum. I always considered it an uncommon color, especially for nail polish, so imagine my surprise when I obtained this gel polish from Aimeili.
This polish might have stolen my grandmother’s heart. The color is an army olive green although it is called Kale (number 073) in the Aimeili catalog, and I think it’s a pretty unique shade. Chances are high that you do not own a polish like this because I definitely did not, and it’s not like I’ve tried to avoid the shade! I guess the major brands don’t think that this color would sell well, but Aimeili took advantage of this to produce the shade.
Aimeili has a ton of pretty pink and nude shades, and color 036 Soft Pink is no exception. I find that it looks a little on the peachy side of pink, but it is a gentle nude shade suitable for French manicures and for those who like a more natural look on their nails.
Keeping on trend with pretty romantic colors for February, this review covers a soft baby pink gel polish from Aimeili, color 022 Rose Nude. This pretty shade is on the sheer side and the perfect compliment for French manicures.
